Top 5 Music and Audio Apps on Android in Hungary, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top five music and audio applications on Android in Hungary showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, starting at approximately $9.3K in early July, dipping mid-month, and then peaking at around $10.3K in mid-September. Weekly downloads decreased steadily from 2.6K at the start of the quarter to just 1.8K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 420K mark, peaking at 429.5K in early September.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting at $544 and reaching $777 by early September. Downloads displayed fluctuations, with a peak of 160 in late September. Active user numbers showed slight variations, maintaining an average of around 2.1K throughout the quarter.

Apple Music had a more stable revenue trend, beginning with $378 in early July and peaking at $565 in early September. Download numbers remained fairly consistent, averaging about 500 per week, while active users saw a slight decrease from 16.4K at the start of the quarter to 14.7K by the end.

TIDAL Music: HiFi sound demonstrated a steady revenue increase, starting at $220 and concluding the quarter at $368. Weekly downloads rose gradually, reaching 157 by the end of September. Active users showed minor fluctuations, with the number hovering around 4.4K for most of the quarter.

Simply Sing: My Singing App had varied revenue performance, peaking at $536 in early July but settling at $183 by the end of the quarter. Downloads witnessed a significant drop from 2.7K in early July to 743 by late September. Active users decreased from 2.5K at the start to about 2.1K at quarter's end.
